Biography
2009-10 Season: Loaned to the Falcons by the Anaheim Ducks on 12-14-09. Started the season with the Central Hockey League’s Laredo Bucks this year posting a record of 10-1-3 with a 2.35 goals against average and .918 save percentage. He was named the CHL’s Sher-wood/TPS goaltender of the month for November. He went 6-1-1 in November, including winning four-straight one-goal games from November 6th-15th. He had a 2.29 goals against average and stopped 215 of 234 shots for a .919 save percentage. Three of his six wins in the month came in shootouts, where he stopped a total of 13 out of 14 shootout attempts. Made his Falcons debut on 12-15-09 at Lowell stopping 27 of 33 shots. Earned his first Falcons’ win on 1-13-10 at Worcester stopping 34 of 37 shots. Stopped 38 of 40 shots on 1-16-10 in a 5-2 win at Binghamton. Won his third straight start stopping 34 of 37 shots in a 6-3 win on 1-17-10. Game’s second star on 1-29-10 stopping 33 shots in a 3-2 win over Norfolk.
2008-09 Season: Spent the season with the AHL’s Iowa Chops.
Career Notes: Levasseur has played in 51 career AHL games, posting a combined record of 17-22-5 with the Portland Pirates (07-08) and Iowa Chops (08-09).
