Biography
2007-08: Played in all 45 games as a freshman. Led the Golden Gophers in penalties (41) and minutes (90). Had an assist on the team’s lone goal in the WCHA Final Five title game against Denver for his first point since a two-assist game in a 4-3 win at North Dakota (12/8). His only goal was scored in a 3-3 tie at Michigan State (11/23). Assisted the game-winning goal in a 3-1 victory over Michigan Tech (12/1).
2006-07: Spent the season with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey LeagueSHL. Scored had two goals and 11 assists in 57 games and helped the Stampede to the 2007 Clark Cup Championship. He led the USHL with 215 penalty minutes and was sixth on the team with a +5 rating.
Career: Played for the Southern Minnesota Express of the North American Hockey League in 2005-06 leading team to the Robertson Cup Final Four, and was third on the team with 115 penalty minutes. Spent the other half of the season with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. In 2004-05, played in 13 games for the Gamblers with no points and 20 penalty minutes. From 2002-04, played at Eden Prairie High School in Minnesota after transferring from Minnetonka High School.
