Russ Sinkewich (D)
Enters his fifth full professional season in 2013-14. Sinkewich was undrafted and made his pro debut for the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL on February 6, 2009 at Elmira. He tallied his first pro point, an assist, with Johnstown on March 8, 2009 vs. Elmira and scored his first pro goal with the Chiefs on November 22, 2009 at South Carolina. Sinkewich made his AHL debut with the Lake Erie Monsters on March 18, 2009 against Milwaukee and he scored his first career AHL point, an assist, playing for the Milwaukee Admirals on April 4, 2009 at Rockford. He won the 2011 Kelly Cup Championship with the Alaska Aces and has appeared in one career Calder Cup Playoff games, on April 28, 2013 with the Portland Pirates at Syracuse. Sinkewich played four years of NCAA Division I college hockey for Bowling Green State University of the CCHA. In 95 career NCAA games, he had five assists and 131 penalty minutes. Sinkewich also played one year of junior hockey for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
