Biography
2012-13: Amassed 12 points (3G-9A) in 51 regular-season games for AHL Penguins... Scored first goal of season on 11/19 at MCH… Saw his first career NHL action, appearing in six games with Pittsburgh and recording a plus-1 rating.
2011-12: Posted four goals, 22 assists and 111 penalty minutes in 79 games during second pro season…Ranked third on team with 111 PIM.
2009-10: Completed his rookie season by appearing in 75 regular-season games with the Penguins, posting 12 points (2g-10a) and 109 penalty minutes…Led all Penguins defensemen and finished fifth overall on the team with a plus-13 rating… Registered his first AHL goal on November 19 at Hartford… Recorded his first AHL assist on opening night, October 3 vs. Syracuse.
OTHER: Registered 17 points and 24 penalty minutes in just 23 games with Kitchener (OHL) in an injury-shortened season in 2008-09… His 16 assists and 17 points ranked him second among Rangers defensemen….Appeared in 18 playoff contests for the OHL-champion and Memorial Cup host Rangers in 2008, registering eight points (0+8) and 14 penalty minutes.
