Biography

2011-12: 45 games with Philadelphia in rookie NHL seaso scoring 4 goals and 3 assists. Recalled by PHI 11/21/11 making NHL debut that evening. Was initially told would be only 4-5 days but turned opportunity into 3 month call-up. First NHL goal was 12/13/11. Was game-winning goal vs. Washington Capitals. Played in NHL Winter Classic on 1/2/12. Another season highlight was playing at his home area of Montreal. Returned to Adirondack in February with injury but returned to Philadelphia few weeks later. Only played in 18 games with ADK due to success with Philadelphia. 2009-10: Attended the Philadelphia Flyers (NHL) training camp…Assigned to Adirondack (AHL) on 9/21/09…Recalled to Philadelphia on 10/1/09…Returned on loan to the Phantoms on 10/4/09…Made his professional and AHL debut on 10/9/09 vs. Springfield…Recorded his first career Pro point with an assist on 10/18/09 at Bridgeport…Tallied an assist for the second straight game on 10/23/09 vs. Hartford…Posted an assist on 11/21/09 at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton…Had his first career Pro fighting major on 11/26/09 at Binghamton…Had his first career multi-point game with two assists on 12/13/09 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton…Scored his first career professional goal on 1/6/10 at Albany.

2008-09: Played in his third full season in the QMJHL, split between Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and Rimouski Oceanic, where he combined for 60 points (18 goals, 42 assists) and 112 penalty minutes in 54 games played…Played in 13 playoff games as Rimouski made it to the QMJHL semifinals before losing to the eventual champion Drummondville…Named to the QMJHL First All-Star Team during the end of season awards.
