CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: 2011-12: After beginning season on injured reserve, played 15 games for the Monsters and played in all 24 games for Colorado after receiving an NHL call-up on 2/16/12… 2010-11: Made Colorado’s opening night roster and played three separate stints with the Avalanche during the season, totaling nine points in 18 games… Made his NHL debut in the season opener against Chicago on Oct. 7 at Pepsi Center...Collected his first NHL point with an assist on Oct. 12 at Detroit... 2009-10: Named one of 10 finalists for the Hobey Baker Award as a junior at Northern Michigan University (CCHA)...Led the Wildcats with 49 points (19g/30a) in 40 games, helping Northern Michigan advance to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1999...Earned AHCA All-American West First Team honors...Finished as the CCHA’s scoring champion with 35 points (17g/18a) in 27 league games and was named to the CCHA All-Conference First Team...
