2012-13: Led Lake Erie in assists (32), points (52) and plus/minus (+16) in rookie season; his 20 goals were second-most on the team… Along with Bill Thomas, was one of just two Monsters to play in all 76 games… Started for the Western All-Stars at the AHL All-Star Classic 1/28/13 in Providence, registering an assist in the game; was the first player in Monsters history to start in the AHL All-Star Game… Scored first goal as a Monster- the eventual GWG- in Lake Erie’s 2-1 victory over Oklahoma City on opening night at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland… 2011-12: In final Major Junior season, won OHL’s Mickey Renard Captain’s Trophy as the league’s top captain, after tallying 88 points in 67 games during the regular season, and adding 18 points in 20 playoff contests… His 88 points on 40 goals and 48 assists tied for fifth in OHL scoring… He led Niagara in goals and points; his 48 assists and 88 points were career highs… Was also the recipient of the Leo Lalonde Memorial Trophy, awarded to the OHL’s top over-age player… A three-year captain of the Niagara IceDogs, he finished his OHL career with a franchise-record 159 goals and 147 assists for 306 points in a franchise-record 318 games played… 2010-11: As team captain, led Niagara with 43 goals and finished third in points with 74… 2009-10: As team captain, led Niagara (OHL) in goals with 37 and points with 66… Represented Niagara at the 2010 OHL All-Star Classic in Kingston, Ontario, and was named Eastern Conference Player of the Game after scoring an All-Star Game record four goals… Made professional debut on 4/9/10 for the Peoria Rivermen (AHL) in Winnepeg against the Manitoba Moose… Skated in Peoria’s final two regular season games… 2008-09: Led Niagara in points with 56, and finished second on the team in goals with 27… 2007-08: Played in 50 games in first OHL season… Was Niagara’s first-ever draft pick; he was chosen 15th in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection.
