Career Notes

Enters his second professional season in 2012-13. Dillon signed with Dallas on 3/1/11 and made his pro and AHL debut with Texas on 3/22/11 versus Houston. He scored his first career pro goal on 10/14/11 vs. Houston. Dillon was recalled to Dallas on 4/6/12 and made his NHL debut with the Stars on 4/7/12 against St. Louis. He was one of only three players to skate in all 76 regular season games for the Stars in 2011-12 and he finished second on the team in penalty minutes (97) and second amongst defensemen in points (29). Dillon turned pro after a four-year stint with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the WHL; he served as Seattle’s captain during the 2010-11 season.
