Biography
2011-12: Recorded his first NHL goal in Ottawa’s 5-3 loss at Boston on Nov. 1… Became the first defenseman in Senators’ franchise history to record four points and a plus-four rating in a single game in Ottawa’s 6-4 victory over Pittsburgh on Dec. 16… Was one of only three Senators to play in all 82 regular season games.
2010-11: Set major junior career highs in goals, assists, points and penalty minutes (91)… Was a roster invitee for Canada’s National Junior Team development camp held in August.
2009-10: Completed his third full season with the Spokane Chiefs (WHL), tallying 30 points (eight goals, 22 assists) in 59 games… Ranked first (tie) among Spokane defensemen in goals, first among defensemen and second (tie) among Chiefs in plus-minus (+23)… Earned a silver medal with Team Canada at the 2010 WJC in Saskatchewan… Made his NHL debut with the Senators on April 8 at Tampa Bay.
