Biography
LAST SEASON | 2010-11
• Limited to just 45 games with Portland (WHL) due to knee injury sustained on 1/18/11.
• Finished with 12 assists and 60 penalty minutes as well as a plus-23 rating (third on team).
• Appeared in two preseason games for the St. Louis Blues and fought twice (Kyle Neuber/Dalton Smith) on 9/15/10 vs. Columbus.
CAREER
WHL: Served as team captain for his final three seasons in Portland. Selected by Portland in the second round of the 2006 Western Hockey League (WHL) Bantam Draft, 30th overall. He made two appearances with the Winterhawks as a 15 year-old in the 2006-07 season before joining the team full-time for the 2007-08 season. Played in 249 games over five seasons for the Winterhawks, with two goals and 45 assists for 47 points.
