CAREER: 2010-11: Concluded his collegiate career at the University of Notre Dame with 57 goals and 34 assists for 91 points… Served as an alternate team captain… In final season with the Irish, his 16 goals ranked third on the team and he finished fifth in points with 25… Recorded a power play goal in the Irish’s 4-3 overtime win over Merrimack to capture the Northeast Regional Championship and advance to the Frozen Four… Tallied a shorthanded goal in the third period of the national semifinal against Minnesota-Duluth to bring the Irish within a goal… The Bulldogs went on to win 4-3 and then defeated Michigan 3-2 in overtime of National Championship… Named Notre Dame Hockey’s Scholar Athlete of the Year… Also named a finalist for Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award… 2009-10: Played in all 38 games as a junior for the Irish… Led the team with 19 goals while adding eight assists for a team-high 27 points… Recorded 11 power play goals for the second consecutive season… Named the winner of Notre Dame’s Monogram Club most valuable player award and named the team’s offensive player of the year… Had five multiple-point games and three games with two or more goals… Became the first Notre Dame player to record two hat tricks in a season since Tim Kuehl ’90 did so during the 1987-88 campaign… Led Notre Dame with 132 shots on goal… Picked up his first goal, a power play goal, of the season in a 2-0 win over Providence… 2008-09: Played in all 40 games as a sophomore… Led the Irish in goals with 17 and added 15 assists for 32 points… Named the Irish’s most improved player… Recorded a team-high 11 power play goals… Tied for the team lead with five game-winning goals… Had eight games with two or more points and three games with two or more goals… Recorded a six-game point streak (6g, 10a) from November 15 to December 5… Had a career-best four point game (2g, 2a) in 9-1 victory at Bowling Green with both goals on the power play…Recorded a second-consecutive four-point night (2g, 2a) in a 4-1 win over Western Michigan...
