Biography
2011-12: Signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Ottawa (NHL) at the conclusion of his sophomore season with the UConn Huskies (AHA) on March 14… Set personal collegiate statistical highs in establishing a new Huskies single season record with 45 points (23 goals, 22 assists)… His 78 points after two seasons were more than any sophomore had recorded in UConn Division I history… Led Connecticut in scoring for the second consecutive season … Recognized as the AHA’s Player of the Week for the periods ending Jan. 9 and March 12… Named to the All-AHA Team… Was presented with the team’s Thomas Jacquard Award as UConn’s most valuable player for the second consecutive season… Signed an amateur try-out contract with Binghamton prior to making his professional debut with the B-Sens on March 21 vs. Bridgeport… Registered his first professional point with an assist in a 6-5 shootout win at Hershey on April 1.
2010-11: Named to the AHA All-Rookie Team... Appeared in all 37 games for the Huskies... Led the Huskies with 33 points on 13 goals and 20 assists...
