Scored the first goal of his professional career (in an eventual two-goal performance) in a 6-1 B-Sens home win over Bridgeport on Nov. 24 ... Tied for second among B-Sens rookies (and tied for third among all Binghamton players) in regular season team scoring ... Ranked third in goals while tying for third among B-Sens with four power-play markers and was fifth with a plus/minus rating of +19.
2011-12: Signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Ottawa (NHL) at the conclusion of his sophomore season with the UConn Huskies (AHA) on March 14â€¦ Set personal collegiate statistical highs in establishing a new Huskies single season record with 45 points (23 goals, 22 assists)â€¦ His 78 points after two seasons were more than any sophomore had recorded in UConn Division I historyâ€¦ Led Connecticut in scoring for the second consecutive season â€¦ Recognized as the AHAâ€™s Player of the Week for the periods ending Jan. 9 and March 12â€¦ Named to the All-AHA Teamâ€¦ Was presented with the teamâ€™s Thomas Jacquard Award as UConnâ€™s most valuable player for the second consecutive seasonâ€¦ Signed an amateur try-out contract with Binghamton prior to making his professional debut with the B-Sens on March 21 vs. Bridgeportâ€¦ Registered his first professional point with an assist in a 6-5 shootout win at Hershey on April 1.
