Biography
2006-07: Split the season with the American Hockey League’s Portland Pirates and the Augusta Lynx of the ECHL, amassing a goal and 16 assists, along with 120 penalty minutes, in 75 games overall… Twice recorded 16 PIM in a game, both times on the road in the ECHL (November 18 at the Texas Wildcatters and February 24 at the Florida Everblades).
Career: 2005-06: Made professional debut for Portland on October 8 at the Springfield Falcons… Tallied first pro point (goal) on October 15 vs. the P-Bruins… Had a plus-three rating and 34 PIM October 28 vs. the Philadelphia Phantoms… Saw first career playoff action April 22, again vs. Providence… Limited to just 20 games during rookie season due to a shoulder injury… 2004-05: Scored a career-high five goals and 28 points in a personal-best 70 games with the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, his fourth year with the club and second playing alongside current Providence teammate Martins Karsums… Led Wildcats in PIM… Finished tied for first in assists and second in points among Moncton defensemen… 2003-04: Recorded a career-high 26 assists and personal-best 30 points, in addition to 267 PIM during the regular season… Appeared in 20 playoff games, scoring a pair of points.
