Biography
2011-12: Completed his collegiate career as an alternate captain with the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux (WCHA), establishing new career highs in assists (18) and points (21)… Appeared in each of his team’s games for the third consecutive season… Ranked first among Fighting Sioux defenseman and seventh in overall team scoring… Was recognized with the team’s Coaches’ Unsung Hero Award… Was named to the NCAA West Region All-Tournament team in addition to the All-WCHA Academic Team… Made his professional debut at Norfolk on April 6.
2010-11: Completed his junior season with the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux (WCHA), tallying 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) in 44 games… Appeared in each of the team’s games for the second consecutive season, setting a new collegiate career high in assists… Helped the team reach the 2011 Frozen Four where it was defeated 2-0 by Michigan in a national semi-final contest on April 7 in St. Paul, Minn.
