2011-12: Served as a co-captain for Ferris State’s run to the 2012 NCAA Frozen Four, where it was defeated in the championship game by Boston College…Won the CCHA Scholar-Athlete of the Year award and was named to the All-CCHA First Team…Finalist for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS award and earned a spot on the Senior CLASS All-America Team for academic success and honoring his four-year commitment to the university…Nominated for CCHA’s RBC Player of the Year and Best Offensive Defenseman awards…Named to the NCAA Midwest Region All-Tournament Team prior to the Frozen Four…Finished fourth on the Bulldogs and led all defensemen with 29 points (7-22—29) in 43 games…Tied for second on the team with five power play goals and ranked first with 15 power play points (5-10—15)…Enjoyed a career-high 12-game point streak, tallying 16 points (6-10—16) from 1/20/12-2/24/12…Ranked second among CCHA defensemen with 25 points (7-18—25) in 31 conference games…Signed a late-season tryout with Grand Rapids but did not appear in game action.
2010-11: Logged 39 games for Ferris State as a junior, finishing second among defensemen and tying for fifth on the team overall with 16 points (5-11—16)…Selected as CCHA Defenseman of the Week on two occasions, 10/11/10 and 11/29/10…Named the Bulldogs’ CCHA Scholar-Athlete of the Year…Tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals and for third with three power play goals.
2009-10: Matched his freshman season totals with 11 points (3-8—11) in 40 games as a sophomore…Helped Ferris State to a third-place conference finish after placing ninth in the 12-team CCHA the year before…Ranked third on the team with 54 blocked shots…Scored two shootout-clinching goals, including an 11th round winner, 11/14/09 at Miami.
2008-09: Led all Ferris State freshman with 11 points (2-9—11) in 27 games and tied for third among defenseman…Notched a season-high three points (0-3—3), 1/10/09 at Western Michigan…Nine of his 11 points came on the power play, placing him third on the Bulldogs in power play points (1-8—9).
2007-08: Spent the season with the USHL’s Waterloo Black Hawks and finished fourth among league blueliners with 36 points (10-26—36) in 60 games…Ranked among USHL defensive leaders with 10 goals (T5th), 26 assists (T4th), eight power play goals (3rd), 17 power play assists (T2nd) and 124 shots (T7th)…Tied for fifth on Waterloo with a plus-four rating…Produced nine multi-point games…Led his team with five goals in 11 postseason games.
2006-07: Skated in 61 contests for the NAHL’s IceDiggers in Alpena, Mich., registering 25 points (7-18—25)…Ranked fifth on the team with 98 penalty minutes…Placed second among the team’s defenseman with 16 power play points (4-12—16).
