Biography

CAREER NOTES: 2012-2013: Mark Visentin spent the 12-13 season with the Portland Pirates (30 games), with a 2.98 GAA and .903 SVS%, and the Gwinnett Gladiators (1 game), with a 2.00 GAA and .929 SVS%. Visentin was named AHL Player of the Week for the week of January 6th. 2011-2012: Visentin had a diversely successful 11-12 season being named OHL Second All-Star Team, earning bronze with Team Canada at the World Junior Championships, being named CHL Goaltender of the week twice(January 29th & February 19th), as well as OHL Lowest GAA(1.99) and OHL Lowest Team GAA “Dave Pinkey Trophy.” He ended his season with the Niagara Ice Dogs with a .926 SVS%. 2010-2011: Visentin earned a silver medal at the U20 World Junior Championships with Team Canada. He was also named OHL Goaltender of the Year and OHL First All-Star Team. 2009-2010: Starting 55 games for Niagara, Visentin recorded a 2.99 GAA and a .911 SVS%. He also started in 5 playoff games. 2008-2009: Visentin was a member of the gold medal Canada Ontario U17 team. He started 23 games for the IceDogs in his rookie OHL season.
