Biography
2011-12:
2nd youngest NHL player to score hat-trick in playoff game on 4/13/12 vs. Pittsburgh in 8-5 win.
Was his first career hat trick.
First NHL goal was October 18 at Ottawa Senators in 7-1 win.
13 goals and 14 assists for 27 points in 77 games as an 18-year-old rookie.
Made Flyers and stayed with team at only 18 after being picked 8th overall just few months earlier.
Career:
Born in Phoenix when his Dad, Sylvian, was playing in the IHL there.
Primarily grew up in Bathurst, New Brunswick.
Was one of the youngest players to participate in the NHL All Star Game when named to rookie team Participated in the skills competition.
MVP of the QMJHL with Drummondville in 2010-11 with 36 goals and 60 assists for 96 points.
Was also teammates with Brayden Schenn on Team Canada at the World Juniors Championships.
