Career notes: In first professional season...spent last season with the University of Calgary after 5 full campaigns with the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League...previously selected by Chicago in the fifth round (132nd overall) in 2008 and by Tampa Bay in the seventh round (186th overall) of
the 2010 NHL Entry Draft...spent training camp with the Barons before being loaned to Stockton (ECHL) Oct. 8.
