John Klingberg (D)
Enters his second professional season in 2012-13. Klingberg was drafted by Dallas in the fifth round (131st overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft and signed a three-year entry level contract on May 16, 2011. He has appeared in 117 career Swedish Hockey League (SHL) games with Frölunda HC and Skellefteå AIK, recording 50 points (13 goals, 37 assists) and 34 penalty minutes. Klingberg won the 2013 Le Mat Trophy as the SEL champion as Skellefteå swept Luleå in the Finals in four games. He has twice represented Sweden at the IIHF Under-20 World Junior Championships, winning a gold medal with fellow Texas Stars defenseman Patrik Nemeth in 2012 in Alberta Canada. Klingberg also played for Sweden in the 2011 World Juniors in Buffalo, New York, but lost to the United States in the bronze medal game.
