Alex Guptill (LW)
Enters his first professional season in 2013-2014. Guptill was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the third round (77th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He spent the 2010-2011 season playing in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Waterloo Black Hawks. Guptill then played three seasons of NCAA Division I college hockey with the University of Michigan of the Big 10. During his freshmen season (2011-2012), he was tied for the team lead in goals (16) and points (33), helped lead the Wolverines to the number two overall seed in the NCAA Division I Hockey Tournament, was named Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Rookie of the Year and was named to the 2012 CCHA All-Rookie Team. As a sophomore, Guptill led the team in both goals (16) and points (36). In 110 NCAA games, he collected 94 points (44 goals, 50 assists) and a +22 rating. On March 27, 2014, Guptill signed a two-year entry-level contract with Dallas.
