Branden Troock (RW)
Enters his first professional season in 2013-14. Troock was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the fifth round (134th overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. After being selected by the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL) 12th overall in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft, he made his major junior debut and picked up his first point on December 30, 2009. Troock scored his first juniors goal on February 21, 2009 against the Kelowna Rockets. Due to head and neck injuries, he missed the entire 2010-11 season with the Thunderbirds. Returning to action in 2011-12, Troock totaled 26 points (14 goals, 12 assists) in 58 games. He was a member of the Canadian U-18 team that won a bronze medal at the 2012 IIHF World Under-18 Championships in the Czech Republic and also played in the CHL Top Prospects game on February 1, 2012. Troock was limited to 19 games with Seattle during the 2012-13 season due to a shoulder injury and tallied 11 points (5 goals, 6 assists). Troock signed a three-year entry-level contract with Dallas on April 15, 2014.
