Biography
2007-08: A veteran of almost 200 career NHL games, Boguniecki spent the entire season in Europe playing for ERC Ingolstadt in the German Elite League. He scored 18 points (4, 14) in 16 games played.
2006-07: Played the season with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL. Played the first six games of the season with Syracuse. Later traded to Bridgeport where he thrived, especially late in the season. In February and March of 2007 registered an 8-game scoring streak in which he scored 15 points, including two four-point games. Finished second on the team in scoring.
Career: Hockey East Second All-Star Team in 1997 with the University of New Hampshire. Made the AHL First All-Star Team in 2002. Won the Les Cunningham Award (MVP AHL) in 2002. Signed as a free agent by Florida, July 7, 1999. Traded to St. Louis by Florida on December 17, 2000. Best season in the NHL came in 2003-04 when he scored 49 points in 80 regular season games for St. Louis. Traded to Pittsburgh by St. Louis on December 9, 2005. Signed as a free agent by Columbus, August 22, 2006. Traded to NY Islanders by Columbus on October 25, 2006.
