Spent the bulk of the season with Chicago (AHL), collecting 32 points (19G, 13A) in 54 games… His 19 goals were good for third on the club… Served as assistant captain with the Wolves… Led Chicago with two shorthanded goals and finished tied for second with six power play markers… Skated in six NHL games with Vancouver (NHL) but was held scoreless.
Was a member of the Dartmouth Subways Midget 'AAA' team that won the silver medal at the 2002 Air Canada Cup, Canada's national midget championship… Drafted by the Washington Capitals in 7th round (197th overall) in 2004 from Notre Dame of the SJHL… Played for three years with the St. Cloud State Huskies in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association… In 2005-06, Gordon was the Huskies’ leading scorer with 20 goals and 20 assists and was +19 with 22 PIM while playing in all 42 games…. Earned first-team All-WCHA honors and was named to the All-WCHA Academic Team in 2006-07….Was a member of back-to-back Calder Cup Champion Hershey Bears teams in 2008-09 and 2009-10… Was named to the AHL Second All-Star team in 2009-10… Scored his first NHL goal for the Capitals against Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils on Dec. 21, 2010… On July 2, 2011, signed with the Ducks to a two-year deal… Traded to the Vancouver Canucks for defenceman Sebastian Erixon on Feb 27, 2012.
