2014-15: Named Hershey’s alternate captain on October 7…Made his Bears debut on October 11 at Norfolk…Named Hershey’s IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year for his efforts in the community, the fourth such team honor he has earned in his AHL career…Recorded 14 points (3-11-14) in 41 games, and tied for the AHL lead among defensemen in shorthanded assists (three).
CAREER - 2013-14: Played in all but one regular-season game with the AHL’s Providence Bruins, serving as team captain…Posted 21 points (7-14-21), setting a new AHL high for goals in a season…Finished with a plus-13 efficiency rating…Added two assists in 12 Calder Cup playoff contests…Was named his team’s IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year for the third time in his career. 2012-13: Played his first season in the Nashville organization with their AHL affiliate in Milwaukee... Ranked third among team defensemen in scoring with 16 points (5-11-16) in 50 games and matched his pro career-high for goals in a season. 2011-12: Spent his final season in the Sharks organization in Worcester (AHL) with 20 points (4-16-20) in 61 games. 2010-11: Was named the Sharks' team captain in February... Had three stints in San Jose, from Oct. 19-31 (one scoreless game), Nov. 17-19 (1-0-1 in two games) and Nov. 30-Dec. 5 (three scoreless games)... Played his first NHL game on Oct. 19 vs. Carolina and scored his first NHL goal on Nov. 17 at Colorado. 2009-10: Recorded pro career season-highs in assists (19) and points (22) in 64 games with the AHL’s Worcester Sharks... Was named the club's Man of the Year for the second straight season. 2008-09: Played his first full pro season in Worcester/AHL with 18 points (5-13-18) in 76 games...Earned club Rookie of the Year and Man of the Year honors. 2007-08: Signed as a free agent with San Jose on Apr. 8 at the conclusion of his college career and joined the AHL's Worcester Sharks... Served as team captain in his senior year at Princeton University (ECAC)… Led the Tigers to the ECAC championship and was named a First Team All-American, First Team All-Ivy League and First-Team All-ECAC and ECAC best defensive defenseman... Named to the ECAC All-Academic Team in all four of his college seasons.
