Biography
2009-10: Played in 20 games during rookie season (10-9-0, 2.81 GAA, .924 SV pct)…Made pro debut and recorded 28 saves for his first career win vs. ROC (10/10)…Stopped a team season-high 46 shots at MAN (11/20)…Recorded first career professional shutout at ADK (12/31)…Suffered a broken hand during practice prior to the team’s game at WBS (2/17)…Returned to the backup role vs. NOR (4/2)...Healthy scratch during Calder Cup Playoffs.
2008-09: Was named the Canadian Hockey League Goaltender of the Year after posting career-bests in wins (40), GAA (2.08), shutouts (5) and save percentage (.941)...Established Belleville franchise records in each of those categories...Led the OHL in goals-against average (2.08) and save percentage (.941) for the second consecutive season...Was named CHL First Team All-Star, and was the OHL’s Goaltender of the Year for the second consecutive season...Was the winner of Belleville’s Tom Gavey Media Good Guy Award and Jake Gilmour Memorial Award...Earned OHL Goaltender of the Month honors three times...Played in the OHL All-Star Classic for the second consecutive season.
