Antoine Roussel (C)
Enters his third professional season in 2012-13. Roussel signed a standard AHL contract with Texas on 7/2/12. He made his pro and AHL debut for the Providence Bruins on 10/8/10 vs. Springfield; he recorded his first career pro point with two assists on 11/6/10 at Portland and scored his first AHL goal for Providence on 2/8/11 at Charlotte. Roussel spent the 2011-12 season with the Chicago Wolves, where he posted a career-high 177 penalty minutes, which ranked second on the team and was tenth best overall in the AHL. He has played for France in multiple international tournaments, including the 2012 IIHF World Championship in Finland & Sweden, where he helped France to a 3-4 record and a ninth place finish in the 16-team tournament. He played four years of junior hockey for Chicoutimi of the QMJHL and he served as team captain during the 2009-10 season.
