Biography
2011-12: Led Binghamton in scoring with 49 points including new professional career highs in goals (21) and assists (28)… Was one of the two B-Sens to appear in each of the team’s 76 regular season contests… Was recalled to Ottawa for the first time in his career and made his NHL debut on Dec. 23 at Carolina… Ranked first among B-Sens in assists and second in goals.
2010-11: Made his professional debut with Binghamton Oct. 8 versus Adirondack (a 5-1 B-Sens win)… Recorded his first professional point (an assist) Oct. 29 versus Charlotte (a 4-3 B-Sens win)… Scored his first professional goal Nov. 6 versus Adirondack (a 7-3 B-Sens win)… Skated in 19 of 23 post season contests in helping the B-Sens capture the Calder Cup.
2009-10: Completed his final year of CHL eligibility with the Saint John Sea Dogs tallying 85 points (46 goals, 39 assists) in 56 games … Ranked first among Sea Dogs in goals and points while finishing sixth in plus-minus (+38) … Finished third in QMJHL in goals, second (tie) in power play goals (17) and seventh in overall scoring … Ranked third among Sea Dogs in playoff scoring and was fifth among QMJHL players … Named a First Team QMJHL all-star and was recognized with the Michel-Brière trophy as the league’s most valuable player … Was a finalist with Jordan Eberle (WHL) and Tyler Seguin (OHL) for CHL player of the year award.
