Acquired: Agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with the Islanders on August 8, 2011. Last Season: Appeared in 66 games with the Sound Tigers, posting 18 points (7g/11a) and 20 penalty minutes…Scored his first goal as a Sound Tiger with an empty-net tally at ALB on Oct. 9…Recorded his first assist at ADK on Oct. 14… Netted his first of two SHGs on the season vs. ALB on Feb. 20…Posted goals in consecutive games on March 17-18 at POR and WOR. 2010-11: Played in 67 games for the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League in his first professional season…Scored seven goals and 16 assists and added 20 penalty minutes…Recorded two 2-point games (Dec. 7 vs. Manitoba and Mar. 20 at Manitoba)…Tallied a five-game point streak from Dec. 4-12 (3g/3a)…Also skated in five games for the Idaho Steelheads (ECHL), where he tallied four points (2g/2a) and added four penalty minutes.
