Biography
2011-12: Served as a “black ace” with Detroit during the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs…Tallied 16 points (5-11—16) in 62 games in his first professional season…Made his professional debut, 10/8/11 at Rockford, and recorded scored his first professional goal against the same team on 11/9/11…Scored goals in back-to-back games, 11/9/11-11/11/11…Posted a three-point night (1-2—3) and was named first star, 12/2/11 vs. Toronto…Tied for the fifth-best shootout percentage in franchise history by capitalizing on two of three attempts (0.667), including a shootout-winning goal on 3/20/11 at San Antonio…Notched six points (1-5—6) in a six-game stretch, 1/17/12-2/12/12.
