2010-11: Posted 54 points (18-36—54) in 55 games with Jokerit in his first full professional season…Finished fifth in the league in scoring, leading all rookies in goals, assists and points…Named the SM-Liiga Rookie of the Year…Broke a 20-year-old league record held by Teemu Selanne for assists by a rookie (36)…Led Finland with nine points (3-6—9) in six games during the World Junior Championship in Buffalo, N.Y.
2009-10: Limited to 29 games between Jokerit’s men’s team and under-20 team due to injuries…Began the season in the SM-Liiga and registered three points (1-2—3) in 12 games…Led Jokerit’s junior club in scoring despite being limited to 17 games with 41 points (20-21—41)…Posted the best points-per-game average (2.41) in the league and was named the Player of the Month for January…Earned a bronze medal with Finland at the World U18 Championship in Minsk, Belarus…Led the tournament in scoring with 15 points (10-5—15) in six games, earning him honors as the tournament’s best forward and to its All-Star Team.
2008-09: Posted 35 points (16-19—35) in nine games with Jokerit’s under-18 team before graduating to the under-20 level…Notched 28 points (15-13—28) in 24 games in Finland’s top junior league…Debuted for Jokerit’s men’s team in Finland’s SM-Liiga at age 17, going pointless in three games…Finished third in scoring at the World U18 Championship in Fargo, N.D., and helped Finland win a bronze medal with 13 points (7-6—13) in six games.
2007-08: Continued racking up points at the Finnish junior level, registering 60 points (36-24—60) in 32 games for Jokerit’s under-18 team…Led his team in scoring and led the league in goals…Notched six points (3-3—6) in his lone game at the under-16 level…Picked up eight points (5-3—8) in five games while representing Finland internationally with the under-17 team. 2006-07: Dominated the Finnish under-16 league for Jokerit, combining for 90 points (47-43—90) in 22 games for an average of 4.09 points-per-game…Led the league in goals and points during the regular season and led the league in goals (7), assists (10) and points (17) during six playoff games.
