CAREER NOTES: 2012-2013: Brandon Yip skated in 34 games for the Nashville Predators, recording 3-5-8 and tallying 26 PIM. 2011-2012: Yip skated in 10 games for the Colorado Avalanche, tallying 8 PIM. While with Nashville Yip tallied 3 goals in 25 regular season games and added 1 playoff goal in 10 games. 2010-2011: Yip notched 12 goals and 10 assists for 22 total points in 71 games for the Avalanche in the 10-11 season. 2009-2010: Yip skated in 32 games in his NHL season debut for the Avalanche, recording 11-8-19. He added 2 goals and 2 assists in 6 postseason games. Yip scored 2 goals in 6 games with his first professional team, the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL. 2008-2009: In Yip’s Senior season with Boston University, he was ranked 2nd of the Terriers in goals with 20, a career high.
