Wolves’ skid gone in a Flache

Defenseman Paul Flache scored his third goal of the season with 3:09 gone in overtime to give Chicago a 3-2 win over Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon.

The win ended the Wolves’ three-game losing streak, which included a 6-1 defeat to the Mighty Ducks on Saturday.

The Ducks were on their way to their fourth straight victory with a 2-0 lead before Chicago came back. Brad Larsen and Ben Simon scored in regulation to tie the game.

Michael Holmqvist and Tim Brent had the goals for Cincinnati, and former Wolves goaltender Frederic Cassivi made 25 saves.

Kari Lehtonen stopped 27 shots in the win for Chicago.
