AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Binghamton Senators forward Greger Hanson has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a boarding incident in a game vs. Toronto on Feb. 24.

Hansen was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Binghamton’s games tonight (Feb. 26) at Hartford and Friday (Mar. 3) at Utica.

In addition, Iowa Wild forward Kurtis Gabriel has been suspended pending completion of a league review of his actions in a game at Chicago on Feb. 25.
