Milwaukee ousts Chicago in double OT

Mathieu Darche slipped a shot under Kari Lehtonen with 15:54 gone in the second overtime period on Friday night, giving Milwaukee a 4-3 victory over Chicago in Game 6 of the West Division final and sending the Admirals to the Western Conference championship series.

Milwaukee will square off with Rochester beginning Tuesday night.

Darren Haydar and Tony Hrkac had two assists each for the Admirals, and Andrew Hutchinson scored the tying goal with 13:50 left in regulation.

Wade Flaherty made 28 saves for Milwaukee, which coughed up two one-goal leads before coming back.

Lehtonen made 41 saves in net for the Wolves, his fifth 40-save effort of the series.
