The Nashville Predators, parent club of the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals, have signed forward Michael Liambas to a one-year, two-way contract.
Liambas, 27, notched one goal, one assist and 188 penalty minutes — second-most in the AHL — in 44 games with the Rockford IceHogs in 2015-16, his fifth full season as a pro. He also appeared in three Calder Cup Playoff games.
A native of Woodbridge, Ont., Liambas has totaled 10 goals, nine assists and 687 PIM in 185 career AHL games with Rockford and Milwaukee.
