Acquired by the Buffalo Sabres along with forward Johan Larsson, a first-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and a second-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for forward Jason Pominville and a fourth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft on April 3, 2013. Re-signed a one-year NHL contract with Buffalo on July 23, 2013.
2012-13: Compiled a 3-0-0 record with a 1.62 goals-against average and a .955 save percentage in three games with the Amerks… Made 105 saves on 110 shots...
