The Providence Bruins have signed forward Cross Hanas to a one-year American Hockey League contract.
Hanas, 24, set career highs in 2025-26 with 15 goals, 23 assists, 38 points and a plus-6 rating while skating in 56 games for the AHL’s Texas Stars. He also made his first appearance in the Calder Cup Playoffs, notching two assists in five games.
In 202 AHL games over four pro seasons with Texas and Grand Rapids, Hanas has totaled 41 goals and 47 assists for 88 points.
Hanas was a second-round choice by Detroit in the 2020 NHL Draft.
