Philippe Desrosiers (G)

Enters his first professional season in 2013-14. Desrosiers was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the second round (54th overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. In 98 games with Rimouski Océanic (QMJHL), he posted a 54-24-12 record with a 2.32 GAA and a 0.904 save percentage. Desrosiers represented Canada and won a gold medal at the 2013 IIHF Under-18 World Championships in Sochi, Russia. In five appearances, he led all goaltenders at the tournament with a 0.80 GAA, 0.971 save percentage with two shutouts. Later that fall, Desrosiers played in the CHL Prospects game. During the 2012-13 season with Rimouski, he was named to the QMJHL All-Rookie Team and won the QMJHL Defensive Rookie of the year award, after going 22-8-5 with a 3.07 GAA and a 0.900 save percentage. Desrosiers signed a three-year entry-level contract with Dallas on April 19, 2014.
