SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Houston Aeros right wing Jed Ortmeyer has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at Hamilton on Nov. 4. Ortmeyer will miss Houston’s game tonight (Nov. 6) vs. Toronto.
