Brown (3-3-6) added an empty-netter with 4.8 seconds left in regulation for Syracuse… For the fifth time in his last seven starts, Brad Thiessen (6-3, 1.24, .958) allowed no more than one goal and finished the night with 20 saves in the loss… 18-year-old defenseman Olli Maatta, the 22nd overall pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, made his professional debut for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton… The Penguins are 3-for-17 on the power play in the series; the Crunch are 2-for-12… Game 3 marked Syracuse’s first shutout in a road playoff game since Corey Schwab blanked Hamilton, 2-0, on Apr. 15, 2000.
