Ducks sign Kelly after Olympic run

The Anaheim Ducks have signed center Chris Kelly to a one-year contract through the 2017-18 NHL season.

Kelly, 37, appeared in 16 games for the AHL’s Belleville Senators this season, registering two assists. He also served as team captain for Canada at the 2018 Olympics, collecting two goals and one assist and earning a bronze medal.

Kelly has played 833 games in the National Hockey League with Ottawa and Boston, tallying 123 goals and 166 assists. He was a member of the Bruins’ 2011 Stanley Cup championship team.
