Josh Harding stopped 41 of 42 shots on the night as the Houston Aeros ended a five-game winless skid with a victory on the road over the Rampage by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.
Mattias Weinhandl, Ryan Hamilton and Matt Foy all tallied for Houston while teammate Ben Thomson added two helpers.
The Aeros now lead the season series over their state rival, posting a 3-1-1-0 record thus far in 2006-07.
Yanick Lehoux recorded the only Rampage goal and kept his team-high nine-game scoring streak alive.
Houston moved into fifth place in the West Division with the win, one point behind fourth-place Iowa.
