AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Crunch forward Tye McGinn has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. Belleville on Oct. 13.

McGinn was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Syracuse’s game today (Oct. 15) at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
