AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Providence Bruins forward Steve MacIntyre has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. Portland on Mar. 29.

 
MacIntyre received an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 23.3 for accumulating his third game misconduct in the general category this season.
 
MacIntyre will miss Providence’s game today (Mar. 30) vs. Worcester.
 
The AHL also announced that Houston Aeros goaltender Barry Brust has been suspended pending league review of his match penalty received during an AHL game at Chicago on Mar. 29.
