AHL announces suspensions to five

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

• Houston Aeros forward Carson McMillan has been suspended for four (4) games as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. San Antonio on Oct. 15.

McMillan will miss Houston’s games Friday (Oct. 21) and Saturday (Oct. 22) at Charlotte, Sunday (Oct. 23) vs. Grand Rapids and Oct. 28 at San Antonio.

• Rochester Americans forward Marcus Foligno has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a boarding incident in a game vs. Grand Rapids on Oct. 16.

Foligno will miss Rochester’s games Friday (Oct. 21) vs. Hamilton and Saturday (Oct. 22) at Toronto.

• Rochester Americans forward Jonathan Parker has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a high-sticking incident in a game vs. Grand Rapids on Oct. 16.

Parker will miss Rochester’s game Friday (Oct. 21) vs. Hamilton.

• Bridgeport Sound Tigers forward Micheal Haley has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a match penalty for an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. Adirondack on Oct. 16.

Haley will miss Bridgeport’s games Friday (Oct. 21) and Saturday (Oct. 22) at St. John’s.

• Bridgeport Sound Tigers defenseman Matt Donovan has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a match penalty for an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. Adirondack on Oct. 16.

Donovan will miss Bridgeport’s game Friday (Oct. 21) at St. John’s.
