On Tuesday, Yanick Lehoux’s hat trick helped San Antonio to a 4-3 win over Omaha… Konstantin Pushkarev scored with 67 seconds left in regulation and Vojtech Polak won it in the eighth shootout round as Iowa edged Peoria, 3-2… Milwaukee tied an AHL record with its 26th overtime game of the season, a 2-1 shootout win over Manitoba.

An inter-conference game with playoff implications sends Syracuse to the Times Union Center to take on Albany on Wednesday night… The River Rats come in two points out of fourth place in the East Division, while the Crunch have rolled to within nine points of fourth in the North… Syracuse is 11-3-1-1 in its last 16 games, and 10-3-1-2 with Zenon Konopka in the lineup since his Crunch debut on Feb. 9… Curtis Glencross, acquired with Konopka in a Jan. 26 trade with Anaheim, has 22 points in 21 games for Syracuse… Rookie goaltender Tomas Popperle has won 10 of his last 12 decisions in the Crunch crease… Albany is winless in its last four (0-3-0-1), all one-goal games… Keith Aucoin, who did not have a point in Saturday’s 3-2 loss to Syracuse, has been held scoreless in back-to-back games only once all season (Dec. 8-9)… Ryan Bayda has 11 points (6g, 5a) in his last eight games for the River Rats.

Seven points out of fourth place in the Atlantic Division, Portland is in Manchester on Wednesday night for the third of five straight road games… The Pirates have managed just 18 goals in nine meetings with the Monarchs this season, but have a 4-4-1-0 record to date… David McKee, a former Hobey Baker finalist at Cornell, made 23 saves for the win in his AHL debut for Portland at Bridgeport on Sunday… Joe Motzko scored twice and Mark Hartigan had four assists in that Pirates victory… The first-place Monarchs are home for the first time since Mar. 9 after going 3-2-0-0 on a five-game road swing, and are closing in on their second division title in three years… Lauri Tukonen, who had one goal in his 19 previous games, scored twice in Manchester’s 4-3 win at Springfield on Sunday.

Division leaders go head-to-head as Chicago hosts Manitoba on Wednesday night… The Wolves are one point ahead of Omaha atop the West Division, and four points behind the Moose in the race for the best record in the Western Conference… Kevin Doell recorded a goal and two assists in Chicago’s 6-1 win over Peoria on Sunday… Jason Krog has an assist in nine straight games (12a), and points in 35 of his 36 AHL contests this season… Manitoba, which kicked off a seven-game road trip with a 2-1 shootout loss in Milwaukee on Tuesday, is 19-3-1-1 since the All-Star break… Jason Jaffray has seven points in two games against the Wolves this season.
