The Rochester Americans clinched a berth in the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs on Saturday night with a 6-4 victory in Binghamton.
The Amerks, six-time Calder Cup champions (most recently in 1996), are heading to the postseason for the second year in a row after not qualifying for three straight seasons previously.
Rochester sits one point behind Syracuse in the race for the North Division title.
