Clear Day 2005

It’s Clear Day in the American Hockey League, when all 28 teams had until 3:00 p.m. ET to submit their 22-man Clear Day lists to the league office.

According to AHL by-laws, only those players listed on a team’s Clear Day roster are eligible to compete in the remaining four weeks of the AHL regular season and in the 2005 Calder Cup Playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension.

Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts, only after their respective junior or college seasons are complete.

Keep up-to-date on the latest deadline-day transactions around the AHL with the AHL’s Transaction Tracker.

The complete list of Clear Day rosters will be published on theahl.com no earlier than noon ET on Friday.

Sixteen of the AHL’s 28 teams will qualify for the postseason, the top four from each division. For complete qualification rules and up-to-date standings, as well as for Calder Cup history, records and all-time championship rosters, visit caldercup.com.
