The Colorado Eagles announced Thursday that forward Michael Joly has been signed to an AHL contract for the 2018-19 season.
Joly, 23, helped lead the Eagles to an ECHL championship in 2017-18, earning postseason MVP honors after notching 29 points in 24 playoff games. He also led the ECHL with 41 goals and added 26 assists for 67 points in 52 regular-season contests.
Joly also skated in 19 AHL games with the San Antonio Rampage last season, collecting three goals and four assists for seven points.
Entering his third pro season in 2018-19, Joly has played 47 career AHL contests with San Antonio and Hartford, totaling nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points.
