Falcons acquire Miller from Chicago

The Chicago Wolves announced Tuesday they have traded forward Tim Miller to the Springfield Falcons in exchange for future considerations.

The 26-year-old forward has accrued seven penalty minutes in four games with the Wolves this season. He accumulated two goals and four assists for six points along with 73 penalty minutes in 56 games with Chicago last season.

The Davisburg, Mich., native ranked fourth on the Wolves with a career-high 19 goals and fifth with a career-best 38 points in 75 games in 2011-12. He also paced Chicago and shared seventh among American Hockey League forwards with a plus-19 rating that year.

Overall, Miller has tallied 34 goals, 33 assists and 67 points in 190 career AHL contests with the Wolves and Syracuse Crunch.
